In the postseason, they were swept in the first round by the New York Knicks. Vince Carter led them with 25.7 points per game. He also won the Slam Dunk Contest during the All-Star Weekend in Oakland and was selected for the 2000 NBA All-Star Game. Following the season, Tracy McGrady was traded to the Orlando Magic.
